Why This Beats Other Duty Pistols
Having carried a Gen3 Glock 17 in Iraq, I can confirm the Gen5 fixes every legitimate complaint about earlier models. The flared magwell speeds reloads when your hands are sweaty. The ambi slide stop works whether you’re left-handed or doing weak-hand drills. Most importantly, that Glock Marksman barrel will put 124gr NATO through the same hole at 25 yards from a rest.

E. B****s –
I reviewed the product details and supplier comparison before ordering the GLOCK 17 GEN5. The ambidextrous slide stop lever is a practical addition, though I found the flared magwell slightly less intuitive than expected during initial handling. The inclusion of three magazines and a hard case adds good value to the overall package, making it a solid choice for research contexts despite minor ergonomic preferences.

After comparing this listing against other suppliers, I selected the GLOCK 17 GEN5 for its robust construction. The marksman-grade barrel delivers impressive accuracy, and the nDLC finish provides excellent corrosion resistance. The ambidextrous slide stop lever is a thoughtful design choice that enhances usability from both sides. Although the front finger groves were removed to improve grip consistency, this aligns with modern trends. The inclusion of three magazines and a hard case makes it a complete package. Overall, it offers strong performance and value for those seeking a reliable sidearm in a research or catalog context.

The GLOCK 17 GEN5 performs reliably with its durable nDLC finish. While the accuracy is commendable, the grip texture feels slightly firm for some users. The ambidextrous slide stop lever works well, and the package includes all necessary accessories like backstraps and magazines.
